Ask most residents of Pike County what they'd
like to change about their county and you're likely to receive
a blank stare and a whole lot of silence. After all, you know
the old saying: "If it ain't broke
"
The fact is, our residents enjoy the 11th-lowest
crime rate in the nation, fair wages and housing costs that
are substantially below those found in metropolitan areas.
Add to this a wide-range of recreational outlets, a bustling
family tourist industry, exceptional education and healthcare
and you have the type of lifestyle many city-dwellers can
only dream of.
