| Okay,
so we couldn't help referring to the famous movie line from
The Graduate. But even though the subject matter
seemed comical at the time, it's now a fact that plastics
is the one word on a lot of people's minds these
days
That's because plastics is one of the largest
manufacturing industries in the United States, accounting
for approximately $304 billion dollars in annual shipments
and directly employing more than 1.5 million people.
Pennsylvania - A World Leader in Plastics

employment.
- The 1,064 plastics industry facilities in
PA generated $15.3 billion in shipments in 1999.
- Employment in the plastics industry totaled

- A less than two-hour drive to New York
City, Northern New Jersey, Philadelphia, Harrisburg and
Syracuse
- Direct access to Interstates 80, 81, 84, 380
and 476 giving quick access to suppliers and customers
- Prime rail sites, served by Norfolk Southern,
Canadian Pacific or one of our several shortlines
- An excellent, skilled workforce with low turnover
and low absenteeism
- Direct flights to major cities via two major
airports:
- Lehigh
Valley International Airport

And, perhaps most impressively, the Penn's Northeast
