Berwick Industrial Development Association (B.I.D.A.), a leader in economic development focusing on industrial development and manufacturing, is excited to announce the return of 98,500 square feet of space at the B.I.D.A. Complex.
This space is part of the facility known as Building 93, one of the largest buildings in the B.I.D.A. Industrial Complex. Over the last sixty years, B.I.D.A. has sold off property for many reasons, improving the environmental and aesthetics of the properties themselves, closing business deals that would create jobs, and diversifying our industry sectors for a more sustainable local economy.
Today, B.I.D.A. makes Building 93 whole again. Currently, IG Design Group, a.k.a. Berwick Offray, is utilizing the entire facility, measuring in at just under 300,000 square feet. IG Design group employs over 500 people in the Berwick area. Providing IG Design Group with consistency in building ownership and the value-add services B.I.D.A. offers, is another way to retain local, long-standing businesses.
Ralph Gitz, B.I.D.A. Board Member and Chairman of Building and Grounds stated, ”This is a step in the right direction for B.I.D.A., maintaining and investing in our physical assets, providing job retention directly within the heart of Berwick Borough.”
B.I.D.A. is the organization that owns and operates the B.I.D.A.
