Mayfield, Lackawanna County, PA -
Warehousing and logistics firms are continuing to look north for new development in Lackawanna County.
While local development initially focused on Luzerne County around Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre, a lack of available land is driving developers north and south to Lackawanna and Schuylkill counties, said John Augustine, president and CEO of Penn's Northeast.
Penn's Northeast is a collective aiming to promote new investments, jobs, and business opportunities by promoting Northeastern Pennsylvania.
“It's a trend that's going to continue,” Augustine said.
