Pennsylvania American Water has earned more Directors Awards from the Partnership for Safe Water than any other utility in the nation. These national awards honor efforts in continuously optimizing water treatment plant and distribution system operation and performance.

• Nine of our plants received the Elite Phase IV Presidents Award (Bangor, Brownell, Clarion, Crystal Lake, Hershey, Indiana, Nesbitt, Norristown and Philipsburg)

Their Huntsville Water Treatment Plant and Philipsburg Water Treatment Plant celebrated receiving a 10-year Presidents Award and 15-year Directors Award, respectively.
