Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA - The Scranton Plan, an affiliate of The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, recently held its annual Summer Festival at the Country Club of Scranton.

The Summer Festival is an economic development marketing initiative targeting site selection consultants, real estate professionals and corporate expansion and relocation executives. The festival's goal is to introduce the quality of life and business opportunities available in Lackawanna County. This year's event welcomed more than 90 guests, many from neighboring states who had the opportunity to network and experience first-hand the quality of life and business opportunities available in the area.

“Summer Festival is one of our most successful marketing tools, allowing us to showcase the real estate and quality of life of Lackawanna County. Real estate professionals, site selection consultants, and corporate executives representing companies looking for corporate expansion were in attendance and able to see firsthand the many business opportunities available in our area,” said Amy S. Luyster, vice president, The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce.

This year's Summer Festival was co-sponsored by Lackawanna County, Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services, UGI Utilities, Inc., Trammell Crow Company, Quandel Construction, Sordoni Construction Services, Inc., Colwell-Naegele Associates, Inc., and NorthPoint Development.
