Penn's Northeast Member, Hinerfeld Commercial Real Estate reported two sales of transportation related industrial properties in Luzerne County Pennsylvania.
At 137 Armstrong Road in the O'Hara Industrial Park in Pittston Township, the former Stephenson Equipment building was sold to NFI with locations throughout the US and Canada. Stephenson Equipment relocated to a brand new facility in the adjacent Grimes Industrial Park.
The 10,700 square foot facility on two acres was sold for $1,050,000. John Cognetti, SIOR, CCIM represented NFI.
In Plains Township at 90 Eugene Drive, the former A. Duie Pyle Inc terminal consisting of a 31 crossdock terminal, shop and offices on 3.81 acres was sold to Saia Motor Freight Line, LLC of Louisiana for $850,000. Fortis Institute currently leases part of the land and offices for their truck driving training program.
A. Duie Pyle, a transportation and logistics providing integrated supply chain solutions throughout the Northeast, recently relocated to a new state of the art warehouse distribution facility in the Grimes Industrial Park according to John Cognetti who handled both transactions for A. Duie Pyle.
